Julian Pormentilla

Hi, I’m Julian Pormentilla.

I was born on the other side of the globe (PI), but I came to the US early enough in my life to have my very first memory here: sitting next to my Mom and Dad as they taught my two-year-old self how to pray. From that point forward, my spirituality has been the central aspect of my life.
Whenever I revisit the previous chapters of “my story” so far, I have a tendency to turn first to the pages that illustrate my experiences with family, then with friends, then of past achievements. I guess this accurately provides insight into what’s most important to me in that exact succession.
Anyway, here’s where I am today:
I graduated from Rutgers University in May 2010 and am currently pursuing the corporate work life in Exchange Place, Jersey City. I enjoy my full-time job, but I also enjoy my side activities, which include: singing & playing piano, expanding my network marketing business (I currently have over two hundred business partners and we’re fast-approaching one thousand customers – ask me about it to learn more!), and of course: JOCC Blogging.
Although I can presently only dream about the future I hope to experience, I strongly believe that our lives follow a predictable course. In other words: the most accurate glimpse of our future can be attained through the careful and honest examination of our thoughts, emotions, and actions of TODAY.
With JOCC, (in addition to what we do as a group) I made it my personal commitment to discover and to share with you what we can do today to literally – as corny as it sounds – make our dreams come true.
